Is there air-conditioning in the centre?

Yes, there is air-conditioning throughout the centre, and in almost all the bedrooms.

Will I be asked to share a bedroom?

No, we have arranged for all participants to have their own bedroom with en suite bathroom.

Will I need to bring much spending money?

All meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Supper), soft drinks, beer and wine at the centre are provided by the Marist Brothers. We sincerely hope to keep the cost for participants to an absolute minimum. We also invite all participants to join us in a meal at a restaurant on Sunday night. There will be an opportunity to visit Alicante where one may wish to purchase souvenirs or gifts, or to go for a coffee or a drink. You may wish to bring spending money for this occasion. People who wish to purchase food/drink separate to meal times and outside the centre will do so at their own expense.

Yes there is wireless internet access available in most areas of the centre.

Is there a dress code for the conference?

No, we want people to be comfortable so casual clothing or what you are comfortable wearing is perfectly fine.

List of what to bring

  • Casual clothing and maybe something a little less casual for Sunday evening.
  • Sunscreen.
  • Sun hat or cap.
  • Insect repellent.
  • European 2 pin adapter.
  • Small containers of shampoo, conditioner, and soap are available in the bedrooms, but you will need to bring any extra toiletries.
  • Sunglasses.
  • Swimsuit there is an outdoor pool at the centre.
  • You may want to make sure you have private or EU travel insurance.
  • Make sure you have a valid passport.
