About Membership

Why join the Trefoil Guild?

The Trefoil Guild is for you if you have given up active Guiding, or you haven't the time to help run an unit due to training for a career, or if you're rearing a family. Membership enables you to widen your horizons, have fun and fellowship, enjoy a range of group activities, and make international contacts.

If you were in Guiding and enjoyed the camaraderie that you had, enjoyed meeting friends with a similar outlook, then why not seek out a Trefoil Guild near you? If you are having a break from Guiding, then the Trefoil Guild is the place to be: it'll keep your connections with the movement and keep you in touch. If you are presently a Guider with all the responsibility that that entails, then join the Trefoil Guild for yourself. Enjoy the companionship of people who understand and support what you are trying to do with young people. The Trefoil Guild has a warm welcome for any Guide or Guider who has retired from the active movement, but who likes the idea of learning something new, travelling, meeting new people or getting involved in local projects. We also welcome women who have had no previous involvement in the movement.
